Hundreds of RVs at Show

The 2016 Puyallup RV Show, April 28th - May 1st at the Washington State Fair Events Center, is the last big multi-dealer RV show before camping season.

Regardless of whether you are in the market for a new RV or just want to see what the RVing lifestyle has to offer, attending a big RV show, the Puyallup RV Show, should be on your "must do" list prior to the arrival of summer.

By attending a RV show, you get the opportunity to view the various types of RVs, compare different layouts and shop various manufacturers and dealers. It’s one stop shopping that makes looking at the numerous styles, brands, models and prices easy.

At the Puyallup RV show you will be able to view hundreds of new and used RVs, vacation homes along with a tiny home and park model displayed by 17 regional dealers saving you the time and money it would take to drive the hundreds of miles to visit all of these dealerships individually. At the show, you can also view the hundreds of RVs at your leisure without being tied to a salesperson as you would at a dealership. However, when you have a question, a salesperson or knowledgeable factory representative is never far away.

If you are looking to purchase a RV to enjoy this summer, the Puyallup RV Show is the perfect place and time to buy. Let's look at a few of the reasons why:

- Over a dozen dealers are competing for your business at the show. If you don't like the deal one dealership offers, you can walk across the aisle and shop it against a competing dealer.

- In anticipation of the summer selling season, dealers have stocked up on inventory all winter long. Your odds of finding the RV with the ideal floor plan, options and color scheme is at its peak.

- To entice dealers to buy RVs during the winter months, manufacturers offer deep discounts, once those units are sold in the spring, dealers will pay higher prices to restock the same RV for summer.

- With RV sales at record levels, RV manufacturers are unable to keep up with summer demand. The law of supply and demand tells us when demand increases, supply decreases resulting in higher prices for the item in demand. For the RV buyer this equates to less selection with higher prices for what is available. Why settle for higher-priced leftovers when you can buy now while selection is high and prices are low?

If you’re not sure whether you want a towable (non-motorized) or motorized RV, the Puyallup RV Show is the perfect venue to help with the decision by being able to compare both types without leaving the show. Who knows, maybe you’ll determine that a travel trailer or a fold-down provides everything you’re looking for in your RV experience, while your camping friends discover a motorhome is the best fit. If you have a piece of vacation property you may find a manufactured home or park model may be the perfect solution for quick and affordable lodging.

For those who are thinking of joining the RVing lifestyle, the Puyallup RV Show allows you to see what makes other camping enthusiasts so passionate about RVing. The Puyallup RV show offers education seminars that are beneficial to both the novice and experienced RVers alike. Seminar topics may range from finding a camping spot to general maintenance tips, there is even an open question and answer period for subjects that aren't covered by a scheduled seminar. There’s something for everyone no matter whether you are new to RVing or a veteran camper.

Many enjoy attending a RV show just to see the latest and greatest in RVing and camping accessories. The Puyallup RV Show offers an informative exhibit called "Ask The Technician" where you will find a fully accessorized RV with some of the most recently introduced RV products displayed.

The show also offers the opportunity to discover the many benefits of RVing from the freedom and flexibility of creating your own schedule to traveling with all the comforts of home including the kitchen sink! Plus, it is a great chance to visit with other camping enthusiasts who share your interests.

Even if you are not currently enjoying the RV lifestyle, attending the Puyallup RV Show can be worth the price of admission. Fun free things to do at the show include the opportunity to win a new Jayco bunkhouse trailer, roast a marshmallow and build a S'more while enjoying a Tall Tale, take a ride on the People Mover pulled by an antique tractor, go on a scavenger hunt via the show app to receive a prize and much more. There are even free fair scones to the first 500 people through the gate Thursday and Friday.

As you can see there are many reasons why it is well worth your time and effort to attend the 2016 Puyallup RV Show April 28th - May 1st. Enjoy the show!

Click here for a short informational video listing the benefits of attending a RV show hosted by longtime RV experts Gary Bunzer and Chuck Woodbury. While filmed for the Seattle RV Show it does a great job of explaining the benefits of attending any RV show like the Puyallup RV Show. It is worth noting that Gary Bunzer (the RV Doctor) will be the featured speaker at the 2016 Puyallup RV Show. Rumor has it that you might also spot Chuck Woodbury wandering the show over the weekend.
