2018 Puyallup RV Show

The 44th Annual Puyallup RV Show is May 3rd – 6th, 2018 at the Washington State Fair Events Center.

The show has always been a great place to see the latest in RVs, manufactured housing, related products and services along with being a great venue of learning via daily seminars, “Ask The Technician – Mods, Accessories & More” exhibit and “Hands On RV 101”.

Let’s take a look at some of the new and improved items you will find at the 2018 show:

SmallLogoRGBTwinStar Credit Union is the presenting sponsor of the 2018 Puyallup RV Show. They will be displaying in booth #15 (located in the ShowPlex) and will be able to approve loans right at the show with some financing specials. Be sure and stop by their booth, say “hi” and thank them for sponsoring the show while you are there.

Phone AppThe show has expanded into the Pavilion building and surrounding exterior grounds, possibly making the 2018 Puyallup RV Show the largest it has ever been in its 44-year history. The expansion has allowed for more dealers (both home and RV) to exhibit and existing RV dealers to display even more manufacturers and models than last year. With the expanse of the show, be sure to download the Puyallup RV Show mobile app. It contains great sort features so you can narrow down what to see and where, along with a seminar schedule, show map and listings of all of the contests and attractions, exhibitors, dealers and manufacturers.

EFN logo smallNew this year is the “Fill the Toy Hauler” food drive to support our neighbors in need. Please bring a non-perishable food item and place it in the garage of the toy hauler located just inside the Blue Gate. Donated food will help fill the pantry of Pierce Counties' Emergency Food Network and be distributed locally so that no person goes hungry. To enhance your donation, TwinStar will match the first 700 pounds of food donated and the Puyallup RV Show will match all the food donated pound for pound. Together, let’s fill the toy hauler until it overflows!

A selection of tow vehicles will be exhibited at the show. If you are unsure whether a motorhome or towable RV (travel trailer, fifth wheel or truck camper) is the right type of RV for you, not to worry as the show will have hundreds of RVs of all different types plus trucks capable of towing/carrying the non-motorized varieties.

Not only will the 2018 show feature more manufactured homes than it has in a number of years, but it will also feature an expanded Manufactured Home Question and Answer session on Manufactured Housing Day Thursday, May 3rd at 3PM. The Q&A session will feature a larger panel of experts covering everything from manufacturing to site preparation and financing along with an informative power point presentation. Don’t miss it!

Free Pony Rides are back for the 2018 show. Our Soggy Bottom Ranch will not only be supplying well mannered ponies for the “Buckaroo Rides” Saturday and Sunday, but they will be also bring a small pony drawn wagon for those that might not want to “saddle up”!

If you are looking for modes of transportation that will allow you to “putt around the campground” or head off to local attractions without taking your motorhome or tow vehicle, be sure to check out PIM Bicycles in booths # 8 & 9 and iLiving Travel Scooters in booth #14. Both products expand your ability to enjoy your camping destination with ease. PIM will allow you to test ride one of their pedal assist electric bikes at the show. Try one, you will be impressed.

Bringing Additional Modes of Transportation

A couple of new seminars that will debut at this year’s show:

“RV Power - Generators & Solar” where you will learn important information on which auxiliary power source is best for you and how to size a system to meet your needs.

“Exploring Your Washington State Parks” - If you haven’t camped at a Washington State Park lately, sit in on this informative seminar and learn about the many improvements the park system has made to make your stay more enjoyable.

New Seminars

While priceless, all of the show seminars are free to show attendees. A complete listing of seminars and times they are presented can be found here.

Finally, don’t miss your last chance to “Enter to Win” a Winnebago Drop travel trailer. The 2018 Puyallup RV Show is your last chance to enter the drawing before the trailer is given away when the name of one lucky person is drawn in mid-May.
