Learning Opportunities

Since knowledge is the key to success, be sure to attend the RV show in your area with the most learning opportunities. In the Pacific Northwest, that show would be the 56th annual Seattle RV Show on February 7th-10th at CenturyLink Field Event Center. The Seattle RV Show provides the largest variety of RVs and dealers under one roof. Variety matters when you are trying to decide which type of RV is right for you.

Many attending the show are looking for something to place on their vacation property, while an RV can be a good choice, a park model or small manufactured home may be a much better choice. At the 2019 Seattle RV Show, not only will you find the largest selection of conventional RVs under one roof, but you will also find park models and a small manufactured home (think tiny home living). There will also be knowledgeable staff on hand to inform you on why a park model or manufactured home may be a better choice on your vacation property.

With the Seattle RV Show being the granddaddy (largest and oldest) RV show in the state, you can rest assured that this is the show manufacturer reps attend. If you have detailed questions about a specific brand, there will most likely be a knowledgeable factory rep on hand to answer them.

If you are just thinking about entering the RV lifestyle, you will want to do more than just look at hundreds of RVs. Let’s take a look at some of the informational learning opportunities at the 2019 Seattle RV Show.

No other RV show in the Pacific Northwest offers more informational seminars than the Seattle RV Show. The show offers more than two dozen different educational seminars covering everything from maintenance to lifestyle with many taught by seasoned RVers. Here are just a few of the highlights:

Are you looking to hit the road in an RV, but still need to earn an income during your travels? If so, the How to Get Started Workcamping is a seminar you won’t want to miss. Come meet Hutch and Shari, a 40ish couple who left the traditional 9 to 5 grind in 2012 for the freedom of the open road in their 72 sq ft vintage 1957 travel trailer. These full-time campers travel regularly, camp whole-heartedly and pack their lives with experiences instead of things.  They will be presenting a lifestyle seminar entitled Freedom in a Can: Finding Sustainability in 72 Square Feet and a nuts and bolts “how to” seminar entitled, Living on the Road: How in the world do you...?.

Everybody’s favorite Gary Bunzer “The RV Doctor” will be introducing two new seminars at this year’s show entitled Campground Safety and RV Roof Top Air Conditioner Maintenance. Just to make sure everyone leaves the show with the information they came looking for, the Seattle RV Show is debuting a new Ask the Experts Question and Answer session at the 2019 Show where you can present your maintenance, do it yourself or lifestyle questions to a panel of seasoned RV experts including service personnel, full time RVers and even a seasonal National Park Ranger. Try as you might, you won’t stump this group! A complete listing of seminars and schedule can be found on the website.
