youtubeHave an RV enthusiast on this year’s Christmas gift list and have absolutely no idea what to get them? Following are six items with a Pacific Northwest slant sure to put a smile on any RVer’s face this Christmas.

Car generator:  If you have an RVer on your gift list that only dry camps occasionally and doesn’t want to carry a generator and fuel consider giving them a Car Generator. This unique product connects to the battery / charging system of a tow vehicle or motorhome delivering up to 1,500 watts of electricity to power an RV when shore power is not available.  This product can also be used to power home appliances when a Pacific Northwest storm knocks out power for an extended period of time.

RV Shaped Wine Bottle Stopper: Do you have an RVer on your gift list that enjoys a glass of wine now and then, especially when trapped inside their RV due to the iconic rain of the Pacific Northwest? An RV shaped wine stopper is the perfect gift for the RVing wine connoisseur.

Soft StartRV:  Those that camp on the west side of the Cascades seldom have the need to run their roof air conditioner(s), but when the need arises they want the ability to do so without a lot of fuss. Unfortunately, the start up process of roof air conditioners requires considerable electricity limiting the ability of RV campers to operate them when insufficient electrical service is available. With a Soft StartRV product installed on an air conditioner, RVers are able to operate a single air conditioner on less than 20 amps of electrical service and two air conditioners on 30 amps of electrical service. These options come in very handy when dry camping with  smaller generators (2,000 – 2,200 watts) or allowing those with two air conditioners to stay cool when all the 50 amp electrical sites are already reserved and they have to settle for a 30 amp electrical site.

Portable Propane Fire Pit: Campfire bans are practically a regular summer occurrence nowadays in the Pacific Northwest. If you have an RVer on your gift list that doesn’t consider it camping without a campfire then they will love receiving a portable propane fire pit allowing them to enjoy a campfire wherever and whenever they wish without smoke or pricey campfire wood purchased at the campground. Portable propane fire pits are allowed just about everywhere when wood campfires are prohibited.

12 Volt Electric Blanket: Anyone that camps in the Pacific Northwest knows that you can experience cold weather during any month of the year. A 12 volt electric blanket allows them to warm up when camping without hookups in an RV or any vehicle with a 12 volt outlet.

Camping Jigsaw Puzzle: When a change of plans is needed due to the unpredictable Northwest weather, having an indoor activity waiting is always appreciated. A jigsaw puzzle can easily be stored in an RV and quickly retrieved when needed to pass the time during a rain delay. What could be more memorable than gathering around the RVs dinette table with family and solving a camping themed jigsaw puzzle?
