2020 Seattle RV Show

youtubeThe 57th annual Seattle RV Show is coming up February 6th – 9th, 2020 at the CenturyLink Field Event Center. It is the oldest and largest indoor RV show in Washington state.

With such a huge selection of RVs on display, this year’s website has added the “RV Finder” so you can search for the types, manufacturers and models in order to see what will be at the show. This will help you narrow your search before you go and be prepared to go see the units you are interested in.

In addition to a huge selection of RVs displayed by 20 local dealers, following are a few of the highlights you can expect at the 2020 show:

The Upgrade My RV exhibit located on the Concourse is back for its third year with a whole new line up of products and services designed to make your RV experience more enjoyable. Following is a partial list of the items scheduled to be exhibited:

Luna Lights (Custom fabricated LED Lighting to replace the not so great looking halogen lights in some of the older motorhomes)

 - The latest in solar technology

 - Paint booth services

 - Stainless steel upgrades

 - Custom floor mats

 - Awning screen rooms

 - RV window replacements / upgrades

 - Water damage restoration services

 - Satellite TV receivers

 - Upgraded RV mattresses

 - Window blinds

 - RV furniture

 - Fireplaces for RVs

While on the Concourse level of the show, be sure to check out the RV related vendors featuring campgrounds, RV carport companies, RV resorts, RV bedding, solar companies and more. If you need a break, stop by the Beer & Wine Rest Area or take your adult beverage with you to one of the seminar rooms also located on the Concourse.

Three seminar rooms feature a large variety of daily seminars covering a myriad of topics. Some of the most popular seminars are returning for the 2020 show along with many new and revised seminars that have been requested by show attendees over the past few years. We are excited to welcome Shari and Hutch back this year. Shari Galiardi and David "Hutch" are a traveling freelance writer/photographer/speaker couple who have been living in their 72 sq ft vintage 1957 travel trailer since 2012. These full-time campers travel regularly, camp whole-heartedly, and pack their lives with experiences instead of things. They will be sharing the secrets of living on the road and be presenting a much-anticipated seminar entitled “Gourmet Outdoor Cooking Techniques & Tools”.

Click here for seminar descriptions and here for times and location. The seminars are sponsored by NorthwestRVing.com.

At the “Ask the Experts” exhibit, you will find a fully accessorized class A motorhome equipped with the latest toys and upgrades designed to make your next RV outing more enjoyable. Solar enthusiasts will want to take note of the huge solar charging system on the motorhome along with a massive battery bank. Another feature of the 12volt system is a battery monitor that displays state of charge, power remaining and amp hours used which is information any serious dry camper wants to know! The motorhome also features a super hitch receiver rated to pull 15,000 lbs and an upgraded satellite TV receiver. The display is staffed by a seasoned RV service professional that will be on hand to answer any and all of your questions concerning general RV service, jacks, awnings, antennas and other popular accessories. Another new feature this year is Ask the Experts Workshops where you can learn from original equipment manufacturers and distributors.

Do you have a favorite weekend getaway destination or vacation property? Looking for something a little larger and more permanent than a traditional RV? Consider a park model or manufactured home. A growing number of consumers are discovering that site- built homes and condos aren’t the only options when it comes to having a vacation cottage. Stop by both the Forest Park destination Park Model in space U and the Craftsman Cottage in the East Hall and sit a spell!
