2019 Seattle RV Show

The 56th annual Seattle RV Show is coming up February 7th – 10th, 2019 at the CenturyLink Field Event Center. It is the oldest and largest indoor RV show in Washington state.

In addition to a huge selection of RVs displayed by over 20 local dealers, following are a few of the highlights you can expect at the 2019 show:

Huge Selection of RVs

Three seminar rooms featuring a large variety of daily seminars covering a myriad of topics: Some of the most popular seminars are returning for the 2019 show along with ten new seminars that have been requested by show attendees over the past few years. Click here for seminar descriptions and here for times and location.

At the “Ask the Experts” exhibit, you will find a fully accessorized class A motorhome along with a dinghy (pull behind car) equipped with the latest toys and upgrades designed to make your next RV outing more enjoyable. Solar enthusiasts will want to take note of the huge solar charging system on the motorhome along with a massive battery bank. Tailgaters will love the Big Green Egg that retracts into a storage compartment. In addition to the motorhome and dingy, a seasoned RV service professional will be on hand to answer any and all of your questions concerning general RV service, jacks, awnings, antennas and other popular accessories.

Popular Accessory - Solar Panels

The "Upgrade My RV" exhibit located on the Concourse is back for its second year. There you will find RV accessories designed to make your RV experience more enjoyable, from deluxe RV theatre seating to advanced fifth wheel towing systems.

While on the Concourse level of the show, be sure to check out the RV related vendors featuring campgrounds, RV carport companies, RV resorts, RV bedding, solar companies and more. If you need a break, stop by the Beer & Wine Rest Area or take your adult beverage with you to one of the seminar rooms also located on the Concourse (see our article on Learning Opportunities at the Show).

RV Related Vendors at the Show

If you are considering a diesel pusher motorhome as your next RV, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation will be displaying an XCL chassis featuring the all new UltraSteer tag axle. This precision-tuned tag axle follows the ideal turning path, eliminating tire scrub and reducing curb to curb turning radius by up to 17%.  Other features include outboard mounted shocks, wide track suspension arms and reverse auto lock.

Looking for a Class B Van?

Be sure to visit the Caravan Outfitter (Campbell Nissan) display where you will find the Free Bird camper. The multi-functional Free Bird camper creates easy everyday versatility. For starters, their exclusive Slide and Glide floor allows all the components to be installed or removed in roughly two minutes. This allows users the opportunity to still have a cargo van when not on a grand adventure, but when nature calls this van has everything needed to camp in comfort. There is the large storage box behind the front two seats that also houses the deep cycle auxiliary battery that powers the dimmable LED lighting, 2 USB power ports and the 31-quart fridge in the kitchen box. This kitchen box also has a portable butane stove along with two added storage drawers. The large dinette seating area allows for game nights and meals where occupants can sit across from one another. When it’s time for bed, simply roll down the curtains and convert the dinette into a true full-size bed. On those warm nights, open the screen vented side windows and turn on the overhead fan for some great ventilation. The optional Batwing awning provides a large covered area around two sides of the vehicle and the storage pod allows users to bring those added ‘just in case’ items. The Free Bird also offers an optional bike carrier. The Free Bird is the ‘Swiss army knife’ of camper vans, is fun to drive and gets 25 mpg.

If you are searching for a more traditional class B van, Winnebago Industries has again reserved their own space at the show featuring nearly their entire line up of Class B vans.

Winnebago Silver Forest

In addition to Free Bird and Winnebago, you will also find class B vans at the following dealers: Airstream Adventures Northwest, Clear Creek RV Center, Maple Grove RV, Poulsbo RV and RV Country.

Food Drive - For the second year, the Seattle RV Show in conjunction with Northwest Harvest is hosting a food drive to help those less fortunate. Non-perishable food collected at the show and participating dealers will be matched pound for pound doubling the food donated. You will find collection bins at show entrances.

Trucks – Looking for a new tow vehicle? You will find a small assortment of tow vehicles awaiting your inspection at the north end of the Concourse.

Craftsman Cottage Manufactured Home - Do you have a favorite weekend getaway destination or vacation property? Looking for something a little larger and more permanent than a traditional RV? Consider a manufactured home. A growing number of consumers are discovering that site built homes and condos aren’t the only options when it comes to having a vacation cottage. Stop by the Craftsman Cottage in the East Hall and sit a spell!

Before you leave the show, be sure to enter to win two MYLO folding electric scooters. These fun-to-ride three-wheel scooters fold ultra compact in less than one second allowing you to store them almost anywhere making them perfect for RVers. Some lucky person will win these scooters valued at nearly $3,000 at the conclusion of the show.
